Future STEM Consulting, LLC supports high school and college students, as well as early career professionals pursuing STEM and medical pathways. We work with individuals applying—or reapplying—to undergraduate, graduate, medical, and dental programs. In addition, we partner with organizations and academic institutions to enhance student recruitment, retention, career development, and community engagement initiatives.
Danielle Watt, Ph.D.
Dr. Danielle Watt serves as the CEO and lead consultant of Future STEM Consulting, LLC. Dr. Watt is a Ph.D. scientist with over 10-years of experience advising high school and college students and early career professionals pursuing careers in the STEM fields including biomedical research, medicine, and dental medicine. She has worked with graduate and professional school admissions committees and top-tier research (R1) institution deans, faculty, and staff to develop best practices in the recruitment and retention of competitive candidates for graduate education, research training programs, and engagement in informal outreach programs. She has also been an invited speaker for regional and national STEM professional society conferences to present on career and professional development and community outreach topics.
Dr. Watt’s passion for exposing youth to science spans over 25 years and has been recognized by local and national organizations, where she received the National Institutes of Health Merit Award for outstanding commitment to environmental health sciences education, the NOBCChE Dr. Henry McBay Outstanding Educator Award, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Distinguished Service Award.
